Step by step instructions
Start by glueing your malachite cabochon into the sterling silver milled edge link setting using Devcon 5 Minute Epoxy glue which creates super-fast, high strength, high quality bonds and as it sets clear it is excellent for filling gaps so ideal for setting stones.
Prepare the glue by mixing in a small dish. Use a fine point such as a cocktail stick to dab a bit of glue into the petal edge setting and gently place in the cabochon.
Once mixed, the glue sets in 5 minutes, so make sure you set the cabochon straight away. Gently place it down and leave it to set.

Now you can wire wrap your briolette bead using 0.3mm sterling silver wire. We recommend using a length of 15-20cm of wire to wrap a briolette but for these small 9x6mm green onyx briolette beads a 5cm length of wire is enough for each briolette bead.
Using snipe or flat nose jewellery pliers open a 5mm sterling silver jump ring and attach the sterling silver willow connector link and the milled edge link setting. For more tips on opening and closing jump rings click here.
Repeat at the other end of the willow connector link, attaching the wire wrapped green onyx briolette bead to the connector link with a 5mm sterling silver jump ring.
Using snipe or flat nose jewellery pliers open the loop of a sterling silver earwire and attach the milled edge link setting and you are complete!
