What are half drilled beads?

A half drilled bead is drilled to a centre point. The great thing about half drilled beads is that the drill hole conceals the fitting, which results in the bead being the most prominent feature in your design. Use half drilled beads with our range of setting to easily create earrings, charms, rings and pendants.

What glue do I use with half drilled beads?

Our recommended glue for most of your jewellery making needs is Devcon Epoxy 5 Minute Glue. When using with half drilled beads, add a dab of glue onto a peg or your chosen half drilled bead setting, set your chosen bead and leave to dry. This glue is fast drying and high strength, plus you can use it on a range of other materials such as ceramic, metal and wood - making it handy for other crafts too.
