Larimar & Iolite Necklace

Larimar & Iolite Necklace

In this pretty necklace design we've combined vibrant larimar with mesmerising iolite rondelle beads! This projects requires wire wrapping skills which can be used to make all kinds of wonderful designs.

Our iolite beads are sold in a pack of 10 which means you can choose to add more to your design or keep them for future projects!

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

1. Apply glue to the cabochon setting and set the larimar cabochon, then leave to dry.

2. Use side cutters to cut the necklet chain in half.

3. Cut a length of wire about 5cm long and use this to wire wrap a iolite bead. You can see the technique used in step by step photographs here.

Remember when you are doing this to hook a link chain into one of the loops you make so that it hangs from it without the need of a jump ring. Then you can hook the other loop onto the setting loop to finish.

4. Repeat step 3 on the other side of the setting and your designs is complete!
