Tourmaline & Garnet Drop Earrings

Tourmaline & Garnet Drop Earrings

We love a gemstone combo! Combining pretty faceted tourmaline beads with garnet nugget beads works a treat in this design.

With the products listed in the shopping list, you will receive more beads and headpins than needed which you can use for even more projects.

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

1. Thread a metal bead, followed by a garnet bead, metal bead, tourmaline bead and then another metal bead onto a headpin.

2. Using round nose pliers create a loop with the headpin at the end of the beads (ensuring it will loop onto the earwire loop), use the tip of snipe nose pliers to hold the loop while wrapping the remaining wire around the base of the loop. Use side cutters to cut off the excess wire and use pliers to tuck in the end and neaten if needed.

3. Use snipe nose pliers to carefully open the loop of the earwire and attach the loop of the headpin before closing to secure.

4. Repeat the previous steps to create another earring drop and your earrings are ready to wear.
