Bumblebee Jasper Freeform Cabochon, Approx 19.5x14mm

First discovered in Java, Indonesia in the 1990ā€™s this brightly coloured Bumblebee Jasper cabochon will certainly add a splash of colour to your jewellery making designs. It is easy to see how this stone got its name from its yellow and black banding reminiscent of bumblebees!

Bumblebee Jasper is not actually a type of jasper as its name suggests, but is a fibrous calcite with banding of orange, yellow and black material which is formed from a mixture of volcanic lava and sediment.
