Amethyst Star Freeform Cabochon, Approx 20x11mm

Price: £16.99 / each

This amethyst star freeform cabochon has varying shades of purple and natural inclusions forming unusual patterns. In certain conditions as the amethyst grows, inclusions form within the stone to create a radiating "star" pattern. Depending on how the cabochon has been cut it is possible to see parts of this pattern resulting in a unique stone perfect for creating one-off jewellery designs.

  • Cabochon (flat bottom, smooth domed top, undrilled)
  • Size: approximately 20x11mm
  • Hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale
  • Natural gemstone - as these are natural stones they may have slight surface imperfections
  • Healing properties: protection, purification and spirituality
  • Birthstone for February
