Small Brass Brush

Price: £4.60 / each

This small brass brush is excellent for pre-polishing metal clay after firing and for creating a 'brushed metal' or satin finish by hand. 

Metal clay characteristically has a frosted white appearance after firing and it is magical to see the bright, shiny silver appearing as you gently brush the piece.

Used with a little more pressure, it leaves small scratches on the surface of precious metal and fired metal clay to produce a fashionable 'satin' finish.

The brush should be used with water and liquid soap to avoid brass particles being deposited on the surface of your metal, which can cause a dull, brass plated effect.
