Blue Banded Agate Gemstone Cabochons - Various Sizes

These vibrant turquoise blue banded agate cabochons are a stunning choice for creating eye-catching jewellery. The natural banded agate has been dyed to achieve a beautiful tones of turquoise & sea blue, perfect for summery sea themed jewellery. Agate is quite a durable gem (6.5 - 7 on the Mohs scale), making it an excellent option for a variety of jewellery designs. pendants, earrings, bracelets or rings. Due to the natural variation in banding, the colours and patterns of these stones can differ. Some stones are more transparent, while others are opaque, with patterns ranging from mostly one colour to heavily banded. This variation is one of the reasons we couldn't resist these pretty stones.

Ideal for both beginners and those new to stone setting, agate is an easy stone to work with as its hardness reduces the risk of accidental scratches during the setting process compared to softer stones.
