K2 Micro Faceted Beads

K2 Micro Faceted Beads
The K2 stone is a relatively new stone only found in Pakistan at the base of the second highest mountain on earth - the K2 Mountain. It is thought that the blue spots are Azurite and the grey-white matrix is granite. Over many years weathering and erosion has worn away copper-rich rock leaving a blue residue of Azurite and in some cases hints of green Malachite. These pretty micro faceted bead strands show a variety of these colours and the facets on the beads reflect in the light.
The strands can be used as a stylish and versatile alternative to traditional chains, perfect for suspending pendants or creating chic, minimalist necklaces, bead bars or bracelets. These K2 beads would pair well with our K2 freeform cabochons.
