Autumnal Carnelian, Labradorite and Leaf Earrings

Step By Step Instructions

You can see the technique used to wire wrap a bead in step by step photos here.

1. Begin by cutting a length of wire about 15cm long and form a loop with round nose pliers. Catch in the loop of the base of the ear wire. 

2.  Then wrap the short end of wire back around the stem to secure, trim the end of the wire if needed to neaten it up. You can see this on our tutorial here, you will need to snip off any excess wire with side cutters and squeeze the end of the wire for a neat finish.

3. Thread the 5 carnelian beads onto the wire followed by the silver bead and 3 of the labradorite beads, then start to form another loop.

4. Now it's time to add your charm before you secure the loop.

5. Wrap the wire around the loop to secure it in place, and again trim any excess wire. You can see the technique used in step by step photographs here.

6. Repeat this process for the second earring.
